Background

Although born in Tampa, Florida, Chris Brand grew up in South Carolina’s Lowcountry after moving there at the age of three. He has deep roots in the Charleston area and lived throughout the Charleston metropolitan region from 1998 until early 2020. During that time, he primarily resided in Mount Pleasant, with two years spent living in downtown Charleston.

In June 2020, Chris relocated to Boca Raton, Florida, where he continues to oversee and expand his real estate brokerage operations.

Real Estate Career

Chris founded Agent Group Realty in April 2016. Today, the brokerage serves clients and real estate professionals across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Before launching Agent Group Realty, Chris founded Brand Name Real Estate in January 2005. The company became a well-known brokerage in the Charleston metropolitan area before he transitioned in 2016.

October 2026 marks the beginning of Chris’s 26th year in the real estate industry.

Throughout his career, Chris has supervised transactions representing many billions of dollars in real estate sales volume. As Agent Group Realty has grown, he has expanded the company’s leadership team by appointing additional Brokers-in-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of various offices, allowing him to focus on strategic growth and supporting the brokerage’s continued expansion.

Personal

Chris is a family-oriented man of faith whose children are now adults. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling throughout the Southeast with his significant other, Marci, visiting agents and brokers, strengthening professional relationships, and exploring the unique communities and attractions each region has to offer.
